The Frustrated Scribbler presents a

COMPETITION

Are you smarter than AI?

It was suggested that AI can make great images if you enter a poem as a prompt. So we did. Here is what it gave us for each of the stanzas of 'Spring Hopium'

I think we can agree that some are better than others, but overall they are not that great. We didn't make any attempt at improving them, but picked the best out of 5 each time (the majority were pretty clueless).

For 'The New World', the AI came up with these:

Again, perhaps not brilliant, but shows some understanding of what the poem is about. We cheated a bit, by including 'AI' as the second prompt to give it some guidance. Not fully cheating, though, as AI is repeated in the songs at that point, as well as at the end.

So what do you think? Can you do better? Send in your best shots for either or both poems. You can 'cheat' as much as you like. You can use the computer any way you like, including your modified text to image AI, or any other medium you like. Just to prove that you are smarter than a computer. You are the master. Not the machine.

So that's the competition. Beat the AI. There's no prize other than that. Try to keep the pics family friendly so we can show them. Send them by email. Tell us how you would like to be called if they appear on the site (name, whatever), and if you like, your city, country, or anything else.
